How to delete text messages in iOS 7?
One feature that changed in iOS 7 in regards to the Messages app is how you delete individual messages. When deleting specific iMessages and text messages in previous versions of iOS, you just simply tapped on the Edit button in the top-right corner and then selected the messages you wanted to delete. While in iOS 7, the cute little Edit buton has gone away from the upper right corner.
Never fear, we'll show you how to do that in order to get rid of those embarrassing messages on your iPhone.
1. Launch the Messages app
2. When you're in a text conversation, press and hold on any message bubble you'd like to delete.
3. Tap on the More… option from the menu that pops up, and you'll get a little blue circle to the left of all your messages.
4. Tap on all the messages you want to trash, hit the trashcan icon in the lower left corner and then tap the Delete Message button that slides up from the bottom.
